Hi there!
I’m Roxy; wife to Mr J and mum to Leo, 4, and Kaia, 1. When I’m not busy changing nappies, blowing raspberries, or adventuring with my amazing little family, you’ll find me working, singing at the piano, getting creative, or blogging here at Blunderlust.
I first started Blunderlust while on maternity leave with Leo, when he was 4 months old, after hiking up Rannerdale Knots and Catbells with his tiny egg head in the baby carrier in the heart of winter, and realising the adventures didn’t have to stop after having children, they were only just beginning (although ‘mum brain’ does contribute to the occasional blunder along the way!)
Since then, the adventures have continued, from wild camping and hiking trips to crafty bits, theatre trips, and more.
I love discovering all the baby, toddler, and child-friendly venues and events in Suffolk where we live, and further afield in the UK. Whenever I stumble upon a local gem, I can’t wait to share it with other parents! I know how valuable word of mouth and reviews are, both from a small business perspective and as a parent looking for new and exciting places to explore with little ones.
